‘LYN’ Bracelet (Drop 1)

$8.00

Right now, there is a war. Separations of families, people fearing stepping outdoors, and even being afraid within their own homes. Shipping people off in unfamiliar places. Detaining people without papers physically on them, or questioning the validity of people with them. To even scooping up documented citizens.

This is not an attack on "criminals", "outsiders", or even "people without documentation": these are attacks on our neighbors. Whether they build homes or go to school to build a better life for themselves, they are all around us. These are human beings who are woven into this country, each with a purpose as meaningful and complex as your own.

This collection is dedicated to those around us. Whether "Love Your Neighbor" aligns with your religious beliefs, or if you simply believe in loving the people around you, the message conveys similar meanings: to love means to protect, to care for, to treat as if they reside under the same roof as yours.

I have created this collection in hopes that my craft has the ability to contribute to something that I strongly believe in: a society that cares for the people within it. It feels impossible to make a meaningful impact in a world with so many disheartening aspects in it. But adding meaning and love into everything that I do alleviates some of that helplessness. You do not have to be the president to make good change– in fact, that is typically not where it happens. It starts with you, and I encourage you to find ways that you can... 'LYN'.
